Dr. Bryan Johnson and Dr. Heather Sculthorpe have over 3 decades combined experience in pediatric dentistry. Our dentists will work with you in order to ensure you are well equipped to teach your children proper oral health habits. Our goal is to help you help your children have and keep a healthy mouth. Our Franklin Lakes, NJ office has been in practice for over 7 years, and is easily accessible to patients living in Franklin Lakes, Ridgewood, Wyckoff, Oakland, Ramsey and the surrounding areas of Bergen County, New Jersey. Dr. Heather Sculthorpe
Dr. Sculthorpe attended Ramapo College where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then went on to attend UMDNJ (New Jersey Dental School) where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, and completed her pediatric residency. She has now been practicing pediatric dentistry for over 13 years. When not taking care of your child’s oral health, Dr. Sculthorpe enjoys dancing, walking and spending time with her husband Mike and 3 children Julia, Natalie and Alex. A fun fact about Dr. Sculthorpe is that she was featured on TLC’s “A Baby Story” with her youngest child Alex.
Dr. Bryan Johnson
Dr. Johnson was raised in North Bergen, NJ and graduated from Pequannock Township High School. After high school, he attended the JB Speed Scientific School at the University of Louisville where he studied chemical engineering. Dr. Johnson stayed at the University of Louisville to earn his Degree of Dental Medicine (DMD). While at the dental school he was recognized by the American Society of Dentistry for Children for “outstanding proficiency in pediatric dentistry as an undergraduate student.” Dr. Johnson completed his pediatric residency at the Rose Kennedy Center at Jacobi Hospital where he was chief resident in his second year of the program. He earned his certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After his residency, Dr. Johnson continued to get additional training in orthodontics, laser dentistry and conscious sedation. Dr. Johnson has been in practice since 1987 and was selected New Jersey Monthly’s Top Dentist in 2015. Dr. Johnson is married to Lisa they have four children, Emily, Alex, Scott and Cecilia.
